Brisbane Arcade will bloom into Spring with its third annual week long Spring Flower Show from 1st to 7th September including an opening night fashion runway show and cocktail party, Brisbane Arcade Spring Collection.

This year’s whimsical and witty theme, ‘The Enchanted Forest’ will see the beautiful Brisbane Arcade overgrown with enchanting fern-heavy arbours with vibrant flowers, a giant mystical rabbit, a forest canopy of twisted branches and blossom, colourful mushrooms, a magical faraway tree, mystic flower arch, cabinet displays and blocks of floral colour.

Installed over two nights with an estimated 100 hours of manpower, Brisbane Arcade’s Spring Flower Show will bring together 300 branches of blossom, five species of orchids including Cymbidium, Vanda, Phally, Oncidium and Phalaenopsis, hundreds of roses grown locally and from Columbia, 168 kilograms of fresh moss, 800 branches of willow and magnolia and kilograms of native Queensland greens.  Other flowers starring in the show will include Gerberas, Carnations, Daffodils, Iris, Oriental Lillies, Calla Lilly Chrysanthemum, Stocks and Ivy sourced locally and some from overseas.

For the first time, the Brisbane Arcade Flower Show will officially open with a ticketed glamour evening event, Brisbane Arcade Spring Collection (1st September) that will see Brisbane Arcade’s esteemed fashion and jewellery designers and retailers take to a runway under the stars in the Queen Street Mall followed by a decadent cocktail party inside Brisbane Arcade and amongst the flower installations.

Darb Couture, Indepal Leather, Irma J Smith House of Fashion, Keri Craig Emporium, Maiocchi, Pia du Pradal, Tengdahl Australia along with Bradley Fine Jewellery, Robert White Jewellers and Stephen Dibb Jewellery will present their spring collections during an enchanting night of flowers, fashion and glamour.
