New Farm Park is big, beautiful and currently blooming rosey.

Located on the banks of the Brisbane River at New Farm, an inner city suburb of Brisbane, the park encompasses in its 15 hectares, the Brisbane Powerhouse and Jan Powers Saturday Farmers Markets. The park was initially a farm and then a racecourse before being acquired by the Brisbane City Council in 1913.

Renowned for its Jacaranda Trees in the later spring months the park is currently blooming with the most beautiful flowering rose bushes.

Blooms range in colour from apricot to fuchsia, cream, red, yellow and white.

The park is accessible by car, bus and CityCat and with bbq’s and picnic tables on site and cafés located nearby everything is available for an enjoyable day out.

The bees are certainly enjoying the beautiful perfume of the roses and so can you.  Drop by while the roses are still flowering and discover for yourself the beauty of the stunning rose gardens at New Farm Park.
